Events at Beccles Sunday Club

Beccles Sunday Club has been set up to help those people on Sunday who would like to meet up with other people in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

We also organise regular events and days out for our members.(not always on a Sunday)

These events are subsidised for our members so represent a real saving, and you have the added bonus of enjoying them with all your Sunday Club friends!

Events 2011 Been and Gone

Easter Sunday 24th April - We went on one of our special Mystery Trips and ended up at Fakenham for lunch at the Oak Inn and then on to Sheringham for the afternoon.

Sunday 29th May - We had a fantastic time at a Neil Diamond Afternoon which we organised at the Public Hall, Beccles.

Sunday 26th June - We had our now traditional fish and chip trip to the Flora Tea Rooms at Dunwich and then to Southwold for an ice cream on the Pier and a wander about the town.

Sunday August 14th - We enjoyed a meal at the Jolly Sailors at Pakfield followed by a boat trip on the Waveney Princess.
We went from Oulton Broad up to Somerleyton and back again. It was very picturesque and peaceful, the sun was shining and we all had a wonderful time.

Sunday - September 11th - We went on a mystery trip to The Beth Chatto Gardens and Nursery at Elmsted Market near Colchester, stopping on the way at Stonham Barns for a coffee and at lunchtime for an exceptionally good carvery at the Hare and Hounds just outside Braintree. The weather was kind to us and a good time was had by all.

Sunday 11th December - We had a lovely day out at the Seaside Christmas Special at Cromer Pier with Dinner at the Old Hall Overstrand

December 18th - Sunday Club Christmas Party: We had a great afternoon with Sean and Andre entertaining along with a local children's group who performed a short play and sung some carols. We also had a visit from Santa a giant Christmas raffle and a special party tea, complete with crackers and hats!
